He's a relatively chill little guy, all things considered. I only dragged him out because I had to adjust his thermostat probe, and while he was active as anything there was no musking or biting attempts. I think I'm gonna like the little stinker.

Congrats, mine bit me when i opened the shipping tub, but the fedex driver had just got done flipping the box every way to scan the bar code.

Yeah, the fed-ex guy here was mostly just eager to get it out of his hands, but he sat in his deli-cup for a little bit while I worked on getting his tank set up.

I think my biggest 'issue' is going to be FINDING him in there. It's a small little thing for now, but rather than using hides he's just burrowing (or was, he's out now, chilling on top of a tree/hide/thing that's in there for clutter), but he's a neat little guy.

I have to hunt for mine since i used my old 46 gal tank. He has been burrowing all over his tank and has appeared a few times to check things out before burrowing again. I have had him out a few times so my kids can see him and he seems to have calmed down some.

I got mine out to feed him and he was trying to imitate a rattle snake with his tail. He still tore up his pinkie.

Yeah, I fed him after he tried to eat me. There was a little bit of tail rattling but once he realized it was food it stopped in favor of eating. I REALLY like the strength of that feeding response, and all cracks about said response aside he really has been fairly tolerant and docile all things considered.

As an aside and evidence that hobbies don't rub off:

My husband thought he was a cornsnake. He's a lot more interested in him now.

How much did u feed him? He seems close to the size of Pyro. I fed. Him one pinkie but he acted like he could have eaten another.
