    Temp Control Help
Hello, this is my first bp, it is a normal. I got her a mth ago, she is 170grams. She has not eaten since I have her, was told she was eating rat pups. When I got her she was 154 grams. I have offered her food ( frozen/thawed ) twice. I have her in a 10 gallon tank with a bowl of water and two hides. One is part of a cereal box, and the other is the half log. After the first week I have held her daily. She is not aggressive. The substrate is the coconut kind. I have and uth, which did not get the temp high enough. So I got a 75watt Nocturnal Infrared Heat lamp. Temp was only 80. So I got the same bulb 100 watts and covered half the tank with a towel. Now the temp is 90. The cold end though is 79. The humidity is 50-60. I have a stick on thermometer and humidity by zoomed, and I have a probe. With the towel on I am not getting much of a cool side. What can I do?? The temp in our livingroom is about 65-70. I do not have a temp control on the heat lamp.
    Thanks!

Zoomed thermometers are literally garbage. I made the mistake of buying them when I first got my snake. They are literally money down the drain. Buy the Accurite from Walmart for accurate readings...
