    Help me with safety concern
Well my Columbian decided it was time to shed on my bed didn't want to bother him although over his cloaca and tip of tail he had some stuck shed he will soak in water bowl and take care of that but decided after to climb on guitar well after about 2 hours I could not get him off well I could if I tried but its 1140 and am looking for the easy way out so basically I gave him my guitar stand BC he is very arboreal in the cage always trying to be high up so this is what I did for him any one see possible safety issue

Oh btw I have to black out the back but the spray I have for it has fumes and I would need a tub for him for a few days and well he eats great and has no problems so I haven't been to quick on doing it ... Also another question when I used reptibark for him I was constantly helping him get the bark out and he had weird poop not runny but soft but now since i use PAM pretreated paper towels its easier to change its easier to find urates pee poop you know it's just a lot easier I also see no affect on him since but he doesn't get to burrow anymore and I feel bad but whatever he is a snake there is no emotions I doubt he misses burrowing

    To start....

Punctuation. Makes reading a whole lot easier. Couldn't quite make sense of that. Also, why were you handling in shed (if I read all that right)? And, my boas love to burrow. So she might miss it. But hard to read/understand that run on...

And it's Colombian. With an "O".

Why didn't you remove him from the guitar/stand????? If you can't get him off that...

Sorry for the run on sentence . English and spelling I always have struggled with .. He was pink bellied about a week ago so I haven't touched him since but today I had to take him out to change the paper towels. When I did he rubbed against my bed and started shed was preying the whole time to not use bathroom on my bed. Then after he moved off the bed onto the guitar. Then I moved the guitar and he went to the stand and it was quite difficult to move him. So I decided to just put the stand in there so he had something to climb on. Once again apologize for spelling and punctuation. Tried my best on this to make sense

I followed you fine but I deal with broken English alot. Its kinda its own language here.

Where are you from? Adding that to your profile would let others know that English is not your first language. We have many other members that struggle with English so don't think your alone there.

To offer a tip on the issue. I have extra tubs that I place my snakes in while I clean their cages. This keeps them contained so I don't have to constantly wrangle them. You could also use a pillow case to hold him. Just make sure you have a tight knot so your snakes don't push out.

Awesome the pillow case would be great for cleaning but the tubs I need for about 4 days to store my snakes to black out the back I was born in nj and lived In the USA my whole life but my first language was Russian. I learned English when I began school so I am fluent in English just always struggle with spelling and punctuation

English was never spoken in my home when my grandparents where alive. When they passed a few years back that seemed to be the only language spoken so I consider myself fluent in both

As for the guitar stand in the tank, I can't see any immediate concerns. Looks like it's secure up against the glass and on the floor. If it isn't, make it so. He looks like he's having fun on it so you may have to give it to him. Ha.. As for handling while shedding, I agree with the others here. Don't handle unless absolutely necessary.

    Beautiful boa, by the way..
