How long can you keep rats in the freezer before they go bad?

Unless they're not sealed well or your freezer's temperature fluctuates a lot, they'd be good for at least a couple of years, I'd think.

what about if they came out of a vacuum sealed package and had to be moved into a ziploc bag(i have an idea that is what u did nathan because that is what i have to do).

well i just went and bought 2 rats....both dead now after me being Hitler for 10 minutes....and they are in separate ziploc bags, which are inside another plastic bag. i squeezed the remaining air out and sealed it tight. so they should be fine for a few years :D

to the mods......make a new rank for those that you know use CO2...call them Nazi's. ( i do NOT in any way mean to offend anyone..especially if you're jewish)

it doesn't matter if they are in the same bag or separate. brian, your frozen rats should be fine for longer than 3 months. just keep them sealed up tight. i seriously doubt they will go bad before reeses can eat them all. :P

oohh....the mini refrigerator at my work has a little freezer on the top....it isn't cold enough to freeze water...it's a piece of crap..u might wanna check the temps and make sure it is acctually a freezer...and not a really cold refrigerator.
