HELP What am I looking at?
Is she swole with eggs? The last time I posted it was an undetermined post ovulation shed. I assumed nothing was going on. She continued to see the male. I dont have a bator, do I need one ASAP? Does she have eggs and how soon could she lay?

Sorry I am a noob and I just cannot read these animals.
Re: HELP What am I looking at?
You should have a had a incubator already.... But anyway if she did indeed ovulate I'd say you might still have a week or two yet. When she's real close the eggs will move further down and she will look like she has mega sausage butt.

This^ is what I thought I was like I know plenty of successful breeding project with maternal incubation ... Not many breeders use this method but it is fine for someone who has one clutch and can be around to check temps often

Is she still eating or mating with the male?
What part of the cage does she hang about in most or does she move around a lot?
Re: HELP What am I looking at?
OK,
She is showing a definite hormonal glow. Amazingly beautiful! So, Im assuming this is the ovulation. She was breeding regularly until just recently. No locks the last few days but many leading up. She seems to like the warm side.
Can anyone please recommend a small plug and play incubator? I chose not to buy ahead in case I had no success with the breeding. I didn't think it would happen so naturally. No worries. I dont mind spending a few dollars but I want a reliable unit. I am not interested in making one. Suggestions please!

I was palpating all along, I tried all the tricks but really did not feel the string of pearls. I guess it takes practice.
