    Stupid expensiveness
well i walked into my room a few seconds ago to find roxy in her water bowl like,IN HER WATER BOWL ,like UNDER WATER,it scared the crap outta me, i thought she had fallen in and drowned but when i walked, and stood next to her tank she turned her head and look at me from under the water, then i saw her exhale and come up for air, it was pretty cool but really scary, anyone ever seen a bp do that before ?

Hah, Roo and Vash both "dive" when I give them baths. Freaked me out too, but they always lift their heads up eventually.

Maybe it's like us; they huff and puff enough and they can shoot water out their noses. ;)

Andy does that sometimes. Freaked me out the first time i saw him do it, but then i realized after a couple of times that he must know what he's doing :)

hey, how do you give your bp's baths?? i know you dont HAVE to... but when you do, do you just stick them in a bowl or something?? i soaked pandora in a big tupperware bowl when she was shedding.

I actually either fill up another spare rubbermaid, or i will directly put them in the bathtub. Just make sure the water isnt too warm. I've got another digi thermometer to measure the water temp. I try to keep it right around 80 degrees.

what about chemicals from shampoo or soap or what have you?? you'd think that the bathrub would have stuff like that floatin around in it
