    Something seriously wrong
Last week I bought a male lemonblast. Brought him home and realized shortly afterward that he had an RI. I started the FS10 treatments. After about 3 days he seemed to be getting much better. This evening when I took him out of the tub after the nebulization treatment, he tried several times to jerk away from me and seemed to be really freaking out when I tried to put him back in the rack. I got him in without too much trouble but I found it a little odd. A few hours later I went to check on him. I slid his tub out a few inches to peek in and he lunge for the opening, struck at me and tried charging out as fast as he could, very aggressive. Have to admit that really got my attention. I grabbed a broom and kept him in the tub but he had knocked his water over and everything was soaking wet. I gave him a few minutes and slowly slid his tub back out. Same thing, he came out striking and fighting violently to get out of the tub. This time I was armed with a snake hook and was able to keep him from getting all the way out and I pinned him while I removed the water bowl and wet paper towels. He was super aggressive and trying very hard to get out of the tub. I know this sounds weird, but he kept coming straight at me! He wasn't just trying to get out, he was trying to attack me.

Anyone ever had a ball go crazy like this? Could this be from the FS10 or some other illness? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Only time I've experienced anything like that it was a male all wound up for breeding...

Are you nebulizing with F10SC or F10SCXD?

Have you checked his temps - maybe it's too hot and he really wants to get out?

Have you contacted his prior owner to ask about his behavior?

Do you have a picture of him?

I am using F10 SC. 3cc's in the fogger. Run it for 20 minutes then turn off fogger and let him set for another 20 minutes. Temps are good. I can't get pics uploaded on this forum.

Upload pics to photobucket and then post them here. My Black Pastel used to strike a lot, but never felt like he was trying to "attack" me. Curious to see what people say.

    Try feeding him.

I tried to feed him and he wouldn't eat. I haven't had any more problems with him. I have continued his treatments and the RI seems to be gone. I guess he was just having a really bad night and got irritated. I don't know, I have never had an experience like this one. I know I am quite a bit more careful with this guy now. lol

Try taking him to a vet....its an RI...usually caused by a bacterial infection...and sometimes if not done properly nebulizations without proper vet/medical professional guidance can do more harm then good.
