Gotta wonder about people sometimes. Someone stole one of our South American RedFooted Tortoises from the zoo once. How they expected to walk around with that thing I'll never know. We suspect they hid it in a baby stroller. But they either got too tired pushing/lugging it around, realized how much trouble they could get in (an endangered/threatended species) or realized they could not care for the animal and just let it loose downtown (our zoo is downtown). Luckily we got it back safely. Idiots! Someone did walk off with our red-eared slider (we never got it back).
