Pics for my first BP, Pastave female
    Hello all,
I have been mulling over which type of BP to get for my first purchase (and bugging everyone here asking for advice, etc.). I went to the Atlanta show today and found a nice female pastave. She isn't a stellar example, but I think she's quite good, especially considering what I paid for her. I picked her because of her interesting pattern, good blushing / dark outlining, and brighter yellow colors. She seems to be in good health and is supposedly already feeding on f/t. She weighs 134 grams and I got her from Fred Kick.

I snapped these pics after weighing her and just before putting her in her quarantine enclosure.
Please excuse the pic quality.. The light was strong (from outside) so the pics are a little blue. I will take better shots once she's settled in.

    And...she's off! (and blurry, sorry)

Thanks for looking and thanks to those that gave me advice along the way!

Congrats! You're really going to love once she gets bigger. The yellow brightens up a lot as they get older. Mine gets brighter and brighter with every shed.

Thanks! She was the best example I saw of all the 2 or 1 gene females at the show (at least in my price range). I don't know how most shows are, but this one seemed to have a lot of low end morphs that didn't look very good (pastels, pins, etc.), particularly from resellers, and then a lot of much more expensive animals (i.e. triple gene or double gene recessive, over $500) and not much selection in between.

I was really excited about her blushing too... I can't wait to see what she looks like as an adult.

Sweet blushing on that one. I definitely like her, and that's definitely an awesome first! :gj:
