Re: Two balls, one tank??
I had two of mine together since they were babies (male and female) and I seperated them when they were around 900g each. From my experience, neither of the animals got stressed out and both ate well when they were together.
If you're going to have two BPs together, you'll have to feed them separately outside the terrarium.

Re: Two balls, one tank??
As much as we humans like to place our human emotions on the snakes, they don't have them. They don't miss each other, they don't care about each other, they aren't friends, they don't love us back, and they don't even like us.
They tolerate us, they might even become familiar with us to the point they know we give them food or we won't hurt them, but at the end of the day if we dropped dead, or a tank mate dropped dead, they wouldn't care. Snakes just don't have human emotional.
So to answer your question is it is best to separate them. Is it possible to have two snake cohabitate? Yes, is it wise, no.
Also being opposite sex you will eventually have eggs. And it may be earlier than the female is ready, and that stress may kill her.

If the female isn't ready you won't get eggs, necessarily. That sorta sounds contradictory

Re: Two balls, one tank??
Alright thanks for all the input! I had intentions of separating them to prevent breeding, I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't put undo stress on them. They will be separated when they make it to my house.
Thank you all again!

Youngest human being to give birth was 5 years old. She had a baby and we can all agree she wasn't ready. Just because they CAN have eggs doesn't mean they are ready to have eggs.
Something along those lines is what I meant.

I don't mean to upset anyone, I just wanted to make sure that when I separated them it wouldn't cause any stress.
