    Adequate growth?
I weighed my BP on 3/31 and he clocked in at 230g, he was hatched June 10th IIRC. Is he decent size or what do I need to do? I fed him 2 medium mice the other night, and since he took them both, I will do it again at the 5 day mark, unless he's overweight... once I burn up the mediums I have I'll switch to larger mice.

Off-topic, I just switched to Cypress mulch, how often does this need to be changed? I would assume more often since it is damp and probably grows mold quicker? What are the best ways to keep it damp?

Well not a lot of info on the boards but it sounds like he is pretty underweight at the moment, hopefully he will begin feeding consistently now and I can bulk him up, should I continue offering two items if he's taking them?

Continue with 2 items if he'll take them, yes.

Cypress is actually mold-resistant, which is nice, but I still recommend once per 2-week changes, coupled with daily spot-cleaning. A well-hydrated snake will produce urine as well as urates, and you can't really tell it's there in an already-moist substrate.

My bumblebee male Bubo was hatched June 8th and is around 350g so not too much more than yours. They all grow at their own pace. As long as he has a nice round body shape he's okay :) can you post some pics of your little guy so we can get an idea of his body composition?
