let's hope the strikes are over.

So I fed all 5 of my BPs earlier then usual today. I've moved them into a dark quiet closet that usually stays a constant temp. I did my cleaning then weight and food after I put them back from their weight checks. Now let's hope that 3 of them eat. I really hope the strike is over for my YB boy. My new pin hasn't eaten since I got her, and my newest normal girl has only eaten once for me. So now I wait. I'm not as patient as I used to be lol. I keep trying every Saturday to get them to eat and no luck so far. Maybe changing where I keep them will help.

Dovah went on a strike for about a month, so I gave him 2 live rat pups, and he ate them right up... then he went on strike for another month, wouldn't take live or f/t.

Yesterday I gave him 2 live rat pups again, and he ate them right away...
I'm thinking he only likes 2-week old rats lol

It's so frustrating when they go on strike >.<

MyYB boy hasnt eaten live or frozen since the beginning of December. My newer normal girl hasn't eaten since she shed live or frozen, and my new pin girl hasn't eaten in 3 wks. She was being fed live xl mice. So I'm going to stop by my exotics shop and get a rat the size of an xl mouse, get a largish medium rat, and a weaned all live and see if they'll eat. My original normal girl and pastel male or garbage pits. They eat anything and everything. Doesn't matter if it's dead, frozen, or alive. I've been doing fts because they are more readily available. I swear these silly things are going to make me pull out mmy hair one day. :taz: This how I feel at times lol.
