    Iis it ok to use a bulb as a primary heat source for my Ball Python?
    Im planning on building a melamine cage for my pastel ball python. Since the melamine seems kinda thick i dont know if the UTH will heat it up ya know?

    Its fine to use. But it will dry out your humidity. I suggest looking into radiant heat panels.

    Like Nikki said, you can, but it does dry out the air much more than using alternate methods. Just something to consider.

    I guess to describe them would be like the coils in an oven but in panel form? Anyway, the links provided are to the top 2 recommended sites which sell them.

    Heat panels are like a heated blanket for your bed.
