well i just put back the astroturf this morning but for the past 3days he's been on paper towel and that hasn'tbothered him since he got here. and i know pink belly is a sign of shedding but how does it just go away like that does it do that before the blue eyes?

Yea the pink is caused by the new skin under the old. Kind of like when you get cut the new skin is pink same thing. the belly is white so that the only part that really shows through. after the new skin is formed it produces this oily substance that seperates the old from the new thats what causes the cloudy eyes. after the old is totaly seperated the oil drains out and his eyes clear up and he starts rubbing his nose to tear the old skin and crawl out of it. if the humdidty is to low then the oil is harder to produce and causes some of the old skin to stick to the new.
