    Feeding off mice.
When I first got Atlas I placed an order for large frozen mice, and small frozen rats. I didn't know which one he was sized for, and had votes of both. He had one of the mice and one of the rats. Size wise, the rats are about right. I don't want to get him stuck on mice, but I also don't want to have a bag of frozen mice in my freezer until doomsday. I'm thinking I'm going to get another BP soon, but I'm also going to be ordering appropriately sized rats for that guy.

Is there any inherent problem in feeding them off 2 or 3 per meal, or would that be cultivating a snake that doesn't want to switch back to the rats?

I'm sure people switch back and forth all the time but in my opinion once I have a snake eating what I prefer to feed it would take a lot for me to feed it something else. I wouldnt want to risk my rat eater getting a taste of mice and never wanting to go back.

That's kind of my gut feeling about it as well - thanks. I think I'm going to go give selling them on craigslist a go. Maybe somebody out there's got a smaller snake that would be happy to get a good deal.
