Finally took Boo out of her tank for her first handling, and boy it was worth the wait :) She is so calm, and just loves to sit in my hand. She is a little headshy, but after gently petting her head a few times she gets used to how it feels, and doesn't mind it at all. She almost gets like a cat and rubs her head against my finger :p I was going to feed her tonight but I had such an incredibly busy day today with Freshman Orientation and enrolling for classes and stuff, I had no time for anything. I'm going to have to hold off on a feeding until Sunday as that is the least busy day I have this week.

congrats! she sounds like a real sweetie. :aww: my snake rubs her head against me when she is about to shed. i hope she does well with her first feeding. i know you said don had her on f/t already, right? so i bet it will be easy as pie. good luck with orientation and all the school mess too. :D

I'm so proud of you for waiting - that's the hard part. I'm sure it will pay off as she has had time to get settled in. Let us know how her first feeding goes. :)

Glad it went well. :) It's still fun when they hiss and ball up, but more enjoyable for you both if the snake is relaxed.
