recently went to pet kingdom, the greatest store on earth. they have tons of hides i have never seen anywhere else, and at least a couple hundred snakes there. it was like the wal-mart for pets. i cant even remember all the types of snakes they had, and all very well kept. they had everything labeled too..males females, captive bred, captive born.. they had tons of aquariums for sale there too. outside they had large tanks for sale that were used in the store. they had a double 50 gal set-up with all the fixins for just 300. they even had a dead gecko inside one aquarium that my g/f took to collect it's bones. (we were re-assured it died of natural causes). they even had a turtle ranch with 2 giant tortises, and 3 smaller ones running aorund. the turtle ranch was as big as our 16'x16' living room. if you live in the s.d. area i suggest you visit.. even if you dont want to buy something it is like a trip to the zoo (actualy nicer then the zoo). i could spend hours and hours looking at the hundreds of snakes and other animals they had in there. i didnt have time to check out all the other stuff, but it's close by so i will be making more fun visits soon.
