Radiant Heat Panels (RHP) & Under Tank Heaters (UTH) more opinions please
So which brands do you like or do you think work best? Have you had problems with a certain brand and how was the customer service if you went that route? I plan on using both a RHP and UTH, RHP to keep ambient temp correct and UTH for a hot spot. I like to keep my house a little cooler then most people, which is why I will be going with both. The forum has already helped greatly with my thermostat choice, so I figured why not try again.

I can't really give a good recommendation on uth since I use heat tape but for radiant heat panels imho the heat panels from Pro Products are the best :) customer service is wonderful and they give you a small list of questions to answer so they can give you the best heat panel (they have over 200 panels) to fit your specific cage and be able to heat it perfectly with the temps of your home. So I highly recommend them :) hopefully someone will chime in for uth's. Hope this was helpful.

Pro-products was one I was really interested in. My problem is I have to go out and find a temp enclosure, because it is 8-10 wks out to have one built. I'm not even sure what RHP's normally run, if they aren't super expensive then it isn't a big deal. Just hate to spend a couple hundred on a panel for a smaller enclosure, then have to buy a bigger one once I get mine.

Hmmmm yeah that is a pretty sticky situation. Maybe if you talk to Bob he could help you out in some way. He's really good at what he does so I bet he could figure something out that would work for you and not break the bank. My panel was $104 shipped so it wasn't too bad, especially since it's perfect for my cage. I'd get in contact with him and see what he can do for you :)
