Adopting a friends Burmese (HELP!!!!)
Ok I know these are not the greatest starter snakes. Buddy is moving on to a different chapter in his life and his 14 yr old python can't go with. Anyways he has been in a custom built enclosure for the last 14 yrs that was built into the house, so moving his enclosure is not possible. I am looking at 72 X 30 X 18 cage from Constrictors NW, I have heard quite a few good things about these. Just wondering if anyone can help me get in the right direction for all the other cage necesseties, such as heating, temp gauges, humidity and all the other fun stuff. Do these guys need a hot and cool side like ball pythons? Yes I am gonna read the guide. Just want personal experiences too. My main concern is keeping this guy healthy and happy.

Monster Cages is in your state and they make excellent enclosures for larger snakes as well. I have two of their 96"x30"x18".
