Question on possible show prices for some morphs
    Hello all!
My original plan of starting my BP collection with 3 females got derailed by a pretty boa that I just couldn't pass up.

That said, we will likely be purchasing our first female BP from the repticon Atlanta show in April. I have only been to one show previously, so need some help in estimating what some BP morphs might go for (what an expected "fair" price is at a show). I know that high quality examples may go for more, but I'm looking for what to expect the price of an above-average (but not stunning) female to be. I will likely be limited to $250 or less, so I know that not all of these will be in my range.

If you have any other tips, I'm very willing to hear those as well. This will be my first time purchasing a BP, so I'm all ears.
Here are the morphs I'm interested in:
    Pastel
    Super pastel
    Fire
    Enchi
    Pinstripe
    Black pastel
    Mojave
    Pastave
    Lesser / butter
    Calico

    Thanks again for your help!

You can probably find any of them for 250 or less at a show.

Thanks for the info! That is better than I expected. We don't have a rack setup yet and will only have one available enclosure to quarantine in, so I will probably be limited to one snake... Unless my husband is cool with setting up another tub somewhere in the house.

Would I be correct in assuming the calico and super pastel would be at the high end of my price range? I have seen calico and super pastel females for around $350 and up each online which is why I was skeptical of being able to afford them. I would love a pastel calico, but am sure that would be well out of my price range.

    Thanks for your input!

Super pastel and calico will be out of your price range more likely unless they are low quality.

    Thanks!
I many go ahead and setup an extra tub just in case we come home with two females, but I would love a calico, so I will make that my goal, with getting two of the other morphs you listed (pastel and one of the others) as my backup plan.

Thank you again for your help!

Not sure about Georgia but up here at the last hamburg show calico and sugar prices had dropped dramatically. I saw quite a few female calico's for $200. I even almost bought a male pastel sugar for $250. they weren't crap quality either they were pretty nice. if it wasn't for the fact that my sugar has been locking with my pastel and a normal girl for months I would have got one.

Thanks for your input Dillan.. I'd LOVE to walk away from the show with a nice pastel calico... I'd even settle for a male if one was nice / cheap enough. If I can get a two gene female (of the other morphs I listed) I might go for that as well.

I'm still on the fence about buying 2 single gene females vs. 1 double gene (if one was in my range).. Decisions, decisions.

u should be able to get the super pastel for around 250 at a show might not be the best example but it shouldn't be the worst .. but u never know at a show that last hour of the last day everyone wants to make money u would be surprised what u can get sometimes

you would definitely be better off adding one snake with more genes!!!
