    Red scale mark questions
Hi everyone! I have searched the forum high and low and have read through many posts. My almost 2 yr old female albino will be shedding soon and has never had issues. However, I've noticed these red marks appearing on her scales this look like she may have rubbed against something. I haven't had this problem before and her setup is just fine as well as humidity. However, she is growing and is in a 55 gal aquarium. I plan to convert her to a new 55 or 75 gal terrarium soon. Any ideas on what this is from? Would it be best to see if they disappear after shedding and then possibly proceed to a vet? We left for viewing our new home in Florida for a week and noticed the marks when we can back. A friend of ours took care of my bp and cat during our absence, I left vey careful instructions to not handle at all due to start of shedding process, change water, and keep tank HUMID. he left a log of everything so I don't know when these marks popped up :/

    Hi,

I'd wait till after a shed - they look like bruises/ scrapes from cage furniture. What kind of substrate do you use?
