perfumes and lotions.

my g/f wears a lot of lotion, and sprays a lot of perfume on her in the morning. we have our snakes in 20 gal screen tops, with more then half covered by plexi-glass. the smell of perfume bothers me, so i would think it would be driving the snakes insane. can they smell this you think? i know it drives me insane. what about lotion. she wears victoria secrets lotions, this wouldnt harm the snakes in any way while crawling on her? are there some types of lotions that can harm a snake?

well i think if the smell is really strong then it would bother the snake. and about the lotion,maybe just have her rinse her hands off before handling,i dont think it would bother them but just in case.

Just to be safe I'd see if she could not spray her perfume in the snake room. I'm sure not to spray anything in the air of my snake room. Not really sure if it's necessary, but I'm like you in that I figure if it bothers me to smell it a bit that perhaps it might my herps.
