    Black Head Ball Python
I'm trying to learn more about the black head ball python. What is so special about them and are they worth the $1,500? And what would you breed them with? Thanks.

It seems so is everyone breeding them...Turns out there are several other genes mixed in with a lot of Black Heads...

Where are you seeing one for only $1500?
They are quite a dark morph, and they can cause rich, deep colors to be enhanced when combined with other morphs. I love the blackhead gene.

I was told that they go for $1,500. I don't see any for sale right now.

I've not seen them that low.. At $1500, I'd go for it, if it's male.

when the market is that small, you dont get something like price quotes. for that, you need several sellers and several buyers and a steady flow of transactions. its a bit like asking for the price of a picasso oil painting. too few trades happening, the sellers pretty much set the price, and each individual case is different.
