    snake rack?
I have three BPs now. all in large (considering my small apartment) vivariums. i was thinking about a small rack system, does anyone have a favorite brand/company? Any tips? do you mount your heat tape along the back or underneath? I did a search and found a little bit more out which helped.

I've heard good things about reptile basics and cserpent but couldn't get either to ship to Alaska. So I'm in the process of building my own. Best of luck in your selection.

I bought an Iris Sweater box rack, and a VE-200 thermostat from ReptileBasics. I LOVE it :) also make sure you get a temp gun for perfect readings. It's a bit of an investment. Everything cost me about $450, but my snakes seem much happier now. I've also heard great things about the CB-70 rack from ReptileBasics. It's got bigger tubs, but only 3,as opposed to 4. I also bought some hide boxes from them. They're great.

Reptile Basics makes the best rack system I've ever used.

Once you go rack, you'll never go back...

I love cserpents. Great quality and if you don't need housing for a ton of snakes, he's a great way to go. Great customer service, the racks come fully assembled (all you have to do is tighten the screws on the back) with tubs and heat tape inside (either as floor heat, back heat, or no heat) and you can even order a thermostat from him as well. If I could get a 5/10-tub v70 rack from him shipped, I would. Also they ship out pretty much right away, so you're not stuck with a 4-6 week lead time (imo it's a bit ridiculous for something that's not custom to take that long to ship out, especially when you have to put the rack together yourself)

    Expensive hobby

My favorite racks are mine that I built, and how I have my heat tape is at the manufacturers facility lol. Room heat only.

My racks cost me $35 to build, and $40 to fill with 41qt tubs.

That's an investment of only $75 per rack.

    They look like this:

My others use Iris MCB-S tubs and cost about $70 to build and look like this:
