Thank you very much! Ya rat racks aren't exactly the most fashionable items but I try to make em look professional at least.
And ya that was kinda a funny little gift for my wife nicole. She likes breeding eats and rabbits and I like the snakes. A marriage made in heaven lol

Ya I worry about floods too. I got freedom breeders newest and best sippers tho. They are designed to not get packed with bedding because of their tapered design and have a spring return to make them even safer.

It would be more therapeutic and relaxing if I wasn't so bogged down with responsibilities. Caring for almost 40 snakes now, half of which are adult retics, burms, anacondas and boas, along with the rabbits and rats. I think I have surpassed the hobby level of animal chores and have moved into the needing a part time employee range haha.

Do you have a rabbit set up yet?
Re: A few of my rat racks
Got a few cages and a decent sized hutch but I just ordered 2x three bay breeding systems with built in feeders, patented watering system, breeding stock consisting of New Zealand Whites, Californians, Rex, and Beveren breeds. Some pure and some hybrids.

A thick layer of really absorbent substrate could be the answer to flooding relief
