    Question about palpating for follicles
Can someone give me an idea of the consistency of follicles, if you're feeling them in a female (i.e. how hard/soft are they). I've always had difficulty in feeling for follicles in my females, but after watching Brian from BHB do it in one of his videos for the gazillionth time, I finally noticed that he was palpating with one hand and supporting the tail with the other. I had always neglected to support the tail and thus could never keep her from tensing up her back end as she crawled back over into her tub. So doing that with two of my females, what I did feel were a few masses that were about the size of marbles in one female, and about the size of maybe cherries or grapes in another female. They were located about 3/4 of the way down the snakes body and had roughly the firmness of a grape. I counted at least three of them in each girl but there may have been more. It happened pretty fast and then they were in their tubs. Do these sound like follicles to you? Is that about the firmness I should expect?
