    Eating Question
I just feed my python on Friday night. I tried to give him 2 hoppers this time. He took the first one no issues. The second one he grabbed killed and then just let it there. Any ideas about this? Normal at times? Happen to anyone else? Suggestions?

    Thank,
    Alan

Possible he doesnt want the other one. I would try to get him switched to rats. With a little patience it can be done.

Mouse hoppers seem kinda' small for a juvenile BP. That's what many of them eat right out of egg. I suggest you go to a larger prey size and only feed him one item at a time. I'm sure your guy can handle a small mouse.

    Dropped mouse in water
Hello! Our BP has gone on her first hunger strike. She's about 1 month off feed. I totally get this is not uncommon. She's still healthy and active so I'm not real concerned. BUT, to try to get her to eat we dangled a F/T mouse outside her hide ( in her cage). She's usually fed in a different container. She grabbed the mouse, constricted it, and then proceededto drag it around her cage, drop it in her water dish and then went back to her hide. I thought this was really odd behavior! Any ideas what this was all about? Thanks! My apologies! I didn't mean to to post this here. Im new and meant to start a new thread - sorry
