    Dr. Pete
Looking for a MENTOR in the south Houston, TX area
My name is Pete. I'm looking for a BP breeding mentor. I've picked the brains of some very helpful people. I'd like to mention these breeders but not sure if its proper. (You know who you are, and I thank you). I'd really love to be able to rub elbows with someone who has some experience with this and who I can approach face-to-face with questions and problems as they come up. Someone more local.

Anyone around me who might be willing to take me under a wing?

Have you talked with Andy Maddox over at pets-a-plenty in Hockley? It's not super close to you, but its closer than some options out there, and he's a great guy. While I'm not sure what he does with ball pythons right now, I know he's cooking up plenty of Retic eggs, afrock, Burmese, chondro, and more.
