Feeding schedule

Hello guys, i'm a newbie in bp, i have read alot of caresheets for bp's, after some tim i have finally got a bp so i wanted to ask the feeding schedule of a ball python, i have asked the previous owner about its feeding schedule and he said he usually offers an 80g rat for 12-14 days, is this correct or normal i got a 600g male bp and i've read alot of caresheets that said offering a rat should be done 5-7 days. And now im confused should i go for 5-7 days or stick with 12 days. Please enlighten me with this one. TIA! :)

An 80g rat every 7-14 days is perfectly fine, whatever works for you. Feeding schedules are for the keepers, not the snakes. An 80g rat Every 5 days is a bit heavy of a meal for snake that size imo. Every 7-14 will be fine though :gj:
