    Substrate question
I know about butcher paper as substrate, but will masking paper be safe?

    Short questions sorry.

    Re: Substrate question
Are you thinking of taping it down? I wouldn't bother. I use paper towels for mites and RIs but mainly use coco husk. Butcher paper won't absorb anything like paper towels do. They might absorb a little if water was spilled on it.

I agree with phantomtip. I dont think it would absorb well at all. We use papertowels for our hatchlings and aspen for our adults.

I am not asking if it's GOOD.
I am asking if it's SAFE.
    Now, is it safe?
