Zoomed reptifogger humidifier

My husband and I purchased a zoomed reptifogger for our fire ball pythons tank. The tank has a mesh cover lid so how would we attach the valve of the humidifier to the lid of the tank so the fog can be released into the tank without making a gateway for our python to escape ? I've tried googlinf this and have had no results

maybe make a loop from an old wire coat hanger? Shape it something like an easter egg dipper and attach it to the lid with zip-ties?

The fog should pass through the mesh top with no problem.

You're probably gonna have to rig something up yourself. Perhaps a washer hose holder would work with something to hang it from. I saw someone cut a hole in the top of the screen and seal the end of the fogger hose to the screen which is something I wouldn't do but works for him.

The fog is cooler and heavier then the air in the cage. so even if you just laid the outflow tube on top of the screen top it will flow right trough the screen to the bottom of the tank like water.

i have it with a screen top and i just let it flow thru the screen and it sinks to the bottom basically.

The downside is that it will rust and corrode a screen top. I'm planning on cutting a circular hole in my screen and running a bead of silicone around the edge where the hose goes through the screen.

Wipe that area of your screen top with a thin coat of petroleum jelly. Excellent corrosion barrier
