    question about my cali king snake
    i have had my cali king snake for 12 years and she use to be a great snake over the past few months she has been overly aggressive she has been moving non stop striking at anything that moves next to her tank today it was bad i had to get her out to clean her tank snd she striked at me and bit me 7 8 times before i got a good hold on her to put her in a pillow case its starting to really worry me on how aggressive she has gotten and i need help if anyone can help me out thank you

    Has anything in her tank been changed recently?

    Seems strange she'd just become aggressive after being so good for so long.

    Was the snake cooled or off feed recently? My girls are usually ravenous when they come out of brumation.

    nothings been changed same feeding same days same tank set up nothing diffent other then her behavior i just dont get it i mean today when i went to clean her tank she striked at me multi times and bit me maye 6 7 times just from getting her out of her tank i just dont get it

    What do you do when this happens? What did you do the first time it happened?

    Biting you the first Time might have been random but it could have given te snake the response it wanted which could be why it's continuing.

    Personally if my Kingsnake started acting like this I would have loved it. I have always wanted a small but really defensive snake, but they always tame out with proper handling.
