    Oliver's tank
Hi everyone! I'd love your comments on Oliver's tank set up. It's a 30 gallon tank, setup per the instructions in the sticky. UTH with thermostat set at 95, coconut substrate, red heat bulb on the left side, CHE ceramic on the right side. Humidity and temps are 84 left side (red bulb) 94 right side (with CHE) and approx 50% humidity with variation. Lots of things to climb on and around.

Looking forward to your comments. The first pics are the general setup, the final one is with foil for warmth. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/03/usu8uhe7.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/03/3u8ymy5u.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/03/2a3etaja.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/03/aqyrases.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/03/eqeruquz.jpg

Try bumping the heat down to about 90 on the hot side.

I would only suggest bumping down the thermostat to 90 if that keeps your ground temp at/around 90. Dropping your thermostat to 90 might actually have your temps much lower than that. (At least that has been my experience. I need my hydrometer thermostat to be set at 94-95 to keep the ground temp at 88-90 on the hot side).

Outside of that, looks good. If the humidity and temps are staying consistent, than I think you got a good thing going!

Keeping this temps warm enough in this drafty, old house during this horrible winter has been quite a challenge..... The humidity is the most challenging, but the coconut substrate helps a lot. Thanks for your comment!
