What do you think? Normal or fire? Or?
I just posted about my new 4,000 grammar female I got today (she's a 5 foot monster)....but I got thinking and after seeing some fires someone posted I'm beginning to think she isn't a normal. Not saying she is a fire but could be. I'm not an expert so I need some help! Once again I don't have her background history. All I know is that she was a pet for the past 5 years and was never bred.

Looks like she is going to shed, but even then her color is really really light-almost like a faded pastel. I personally think it's too light even for a normal. Her belly is clear. She has a broken dorsal stripe-not common on normals either. Take a close look at her head. Notice the face stripes meet in the middle at her nose and the center of her head is lighter. I don't know much, but I know it's not a typical ball python. Please comment, need your lovely inputs :)

(Pictures were taken in the sink, I was giving her a good wash lol)

I don't think she's a fire. She doesn't have the head stamp. Below are pics of my fire and sulfur - you can see the head stamp clearly on each.

She's super bright and pretty, though.

She is a magnificent girl, and is superbly bright, but I can't see fire in her at all. The headstamp is one of THE big hallmarks of a fire, even darker colored fires with minimal blushing almost always have very prominent headstamps.

This girl actually reminds me of the super light female I use to make my vanillas.

Thanks for the inputs! I was kinda confused because she is so light and her belly is so clean. I read somewhere that not all fires have the head stamp? The person who had her, got her from Underground Reptiles. They breed all their own ball pythons--supposedly. So I might go there and ask what they think she is or find out some further info on her. I plan to breed her to my black pastel het pied and see what comes out though. I might make some really light black pastels or something lol
