Anyone know where to get these locally or shipped really cheap?

Reptile Frenzy
Bean Farm has the clips. If your looking for the "Rivets" which are actually grommets that reptile basics sell then I would go to sailright.com for them. They are 6 cents a set. All you have to do is find a good grommet press. Use 5/16" brass grommets and use the eyelets you get in electrical to hook to the heat tape. Just as easy and cheaper.

I've gotten them from bean farm before but unless I missed something they charge flat rate 15+ shipping on it.
When it would take a small 25 cent padded envelope and a 50 cent stamp to get it to me. :/

Its not that hard.
If you have a real mechanic (grease monkey) friend, ask them to show you.
If they classify themselves as a "tech" then forget it.:rofl::rofl:
Even a computer geek you know might be able to help you out.
A cheap iron will cost you about $20 and usually comes with a little solder. In the long run you will get ahead. ;)
