    Seemingly NOCTURNAL fire skink
I've had my fire skink for about 10 months now. It seems to me that he is more active at night than he is during the day. Occasionally I'll see him up during the day but normally he comes out of his burrow in the night. I know that fire skinks are usually shy lizards, but does anyone seem to have had the same experience with theirs? Just curious

It depends on how strong the light is in there or how hot the tank may be getting in the day hours. My skinks seem to be active at random times, though as he is eating well or properly at least he should be okay. I love my 2 Fires. I see the frequently come out for water then burrow away back to their warm dirt. Fires are quite shy anyways.
