weight fluctuation in females while developing/ovulating
    Hi all,

Was wondering if anyone could advise me on what to look for in the way of weight changes in the female while in the breeding season? My female has not eaten for 6 weeks and that was a small meal (L Mouse), and since she has only lost about 50g and that most of that was about 4 weeks ago.

She has dropped a minimal 8grams in the last week???

Basically i was wondering if the weight gain from developing the follicles through to the end of ovulation compensates for the weight loss in the fact that she is fasting, hence the minimal change? Is this another sign that she has ovulated. She is also due to shed and always coiled over heat mat in her rub.

thanks in advance for your replies.

    Cheers

    Dean
