    Shipping advice
OK, so , I got my SYR package in to ship 2 snakes to this person I am snake sitting for. I have never done this, so I am getting some advice, and obviously, I know they go one in each bag, the warmers wont need to be activated until I am about to close the box up at the fedex location I am shipping from, putting newspapers in to help less jostling. But I am just making sure I am not missing anything, so go ahead, tell me what to do!! lol

Actually you want to activate your heat pack (1) 2 hours before shipping. Once ready to pack make sure to tape it on the top or side.

You can pack your animals print your label and take it to fedex (no need to wait to close box up at the fedex location)

Make sure it is safe to ship, many areas in the country are still very cold with temps in the single digits, I always check temps in 3 locations: origin, main hub and destination.

    Good advice from Deb.

Def pre-start your heat pack an hour or two before boxing, shake it well and let it warm up in a towel, or even in your pocket, so that chain reaction is well started. Don't tape over the red line on the heat pack, that is where the air exchange is controlled.

And have you box sealed up and labeled before heading to the FedEx, so you can just drop it off ready to go.
