Re: het Clown or no
I certainly can't pick out hets from non-hets.
If there were reliable markers then they wouldn't be classed as recessives.
The people that work with a lot of them do say they can identify a certain "look" to the hets but sadly I could never see what they saw on pictures posted. Maybe someone can chime in that can.

I'm sorry no one has really chimed in to your post but the only reason for that is we can't really say if it's het for anything or not just by looking at it. The only way to know for sure is to breed it to another snake with the same genetics and see if you get visuals and even then sometimes they don't prove out immediately. Some breeders have taken many seasons to prove out possible Hets. It's not that were ignoring your post we just can't really answer it lol.

Re: het Clown or no
Im not a 100% on this cause there isnt a lot of definitive answers with what are markers but from all my mindless googling the bottom of tail could be an indicator, a very light head like yours and even faint clown tear drops on the side. But again that what i have found others say to look for. Your also more then likely to hear "you have to prove it out to know for sure" so ill get that out of the way for you lol. And also if ghe breeder is reputable then more the. Likely you dont need any markers. Hope that helps

But since you seem a bit impatient, and a touch snarky (and trust me, I KNOW snarky), I'll go ahead and say what I was going to say at 0700 this morning. Until proven otherwise, what you have on your hands there is a Normal Ball Python. Not het for anything except....wait for it.....NORMAL Ball Python. But you're in luck, because what you have there is the Super Form :gj:
Bottom line, Snatantula, if you think you have a het Clown or a het Axanthic, or a het Both, get it a playmate and prove it out. A couple breeding seasons down the road, you'll know. It matters not one iota what I or anyone else on this Forum think about your BP having markers or not. All 41,230 currently registered members on this site could argue your snake's markers, or lack of, till the cows come home, and you'd still have to prove it out.
Good luck on your quest.

Ya I can get a little snarky from titme to time but honestly sometimes it gets results :D.
Thank you everybody for your replys.
I have been reading about markers for hets latley and I can clearly notice the Pie markers but wasnt sure if I am looking at the correct stuff on het clowns that others refer to as het clown markers. I know they are not any Identifiers just dont wanna look like an even bigger dumb ace when i refer to clown markers ontop of already refering to het markers.
If someone started talking about het markers and refered to the 2 spots on the tips of a het pieds nose for a marker. What they sound like ?
I am not looking for some1 to say hey ya thats a het clown, and then rush out and buy it then 3 years later make a thread about how upset I am cause 1 of you guys on here told me it was het clown:rage:.
just wanting more insight to what is refered to as clown markers from experience and or vpi axanthic more clown tho. I really like the Butter Clown.:O
