Are you on Arachnoboards Forum?? They have a TON of info over there on proper husbandry (they can be a little quiet in terms of forum posting, but usually there are always people to help you out).

PS–Tarantula Keepers Guide is the foundation of everything they use on AB too

I picked up a copy of the book on ebay. Ive been lurking on that forum but have yet to make an account over there. Really wish that itvwould warm up a bit got 3 Ts on order that are being held because its been so cold.

its that time of year. i've got over a grand in Ts sitting all over the west coast waiting on the weather here to be safe to ship. and to answer the question the Tarantula keepers guide is the T keepers bible.

hey I just saw you are from CT. try looking up Mike41793 he's there too and has a few T's for sale. maybe you can just meet up.

You can get a lot of good info from arachnoboards too. I've found more there than in the tarantula keepers guide. For someone brand new to the hobby, I'd almost recommend just doing online research first. The TTKG doesn't cover every species' husbandry and is just a VERY wordy book. It could overwhelm a noob imo. But it is the best book.

As Damon said, I'm in CT too, so if you need anything, shoot me a PM. :gj:
