    egg cutting questions
I was wondering how many days should i wait to cut the eggs? Also after I cut the eggs do I put the eggs back in the incubator or in a rack or leave them out? Thanks

It seems to vary for most people and how consistent and at what temps their incubators run. I personally wait until I see the first egg pip. In 23 out of 25 clutches over the last 3 seasons, this has happened on day 52. I'll cut them and place them back in the incubator until they all come out of the eggs. Hope it helps. Good luck.

it is better to cut after you see the first one too. but whenever you decide to cut.t do not make a giant hole just make a nice size window to see what you got and there lol. and after you cut you have to place eggs back in the incubator.

You can also let them hatch on their own...

It is not a one fit all type of answer since you have never done it and are not sure I would suggest that you do not and let them pip on their own.

The main factor is temperature, different temperatures different hatching time.

If you do insist on cutting then wait until the first one pips on its own, that will be the safest way for you to know it's not to early.

Remember cutting has risks and should not be done lightly.

I cut based on my temps since over the years I found myself incubating at lower temps I cut much later then I used to now.
