How do I raise the humidity in my tank?
The humidity in my tank is only at around 20% and I know it needs to be at around 50% - 60%. her stomach scales are very dry. How do I increase the humidity in her tank? I have her in a glass tank with a screen top. I recently changed out the red sand that her tank had come with, with aspen bedding, could that be the problem? is there anyway to change this that isn't that expensive? At least till I save up enough money to fix it permanently?

Temporary fix- Cover 3/4 or the screen lid with saran wrap or tin foil. Increase water bowl size, or put water bowl on warm side. How are you heating?

A damp towel on top or I made a cheap humidifier when I was using a glass tank. I think I got out for under $15

Mine was similar just with an airstone at the bottom. I had it on a timer and covered a good portion of the screen to with plastic wrap. Worked pretty good. I didn't like a damp towel on top, it worked but if I let it dry out my gf's cat would post on top of the cage and it make me nervous
