    Ball python in wierd places
For the last week I keep finding my ball python like half way out of her hide just sticking her head or like half her body out; I realized that her eye caps hadn't been shed since the last shed (3 weeks ago) and I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it. I feed her once a week

I would post a picture of her doing it but I'm not sure how. Just wanted to know if it's anything I should be worried about

    Thanks

Doubt it's anything to worry about. Twix comes halfway out of her hide and lays her head on the edge of her water bowl before going on her nightly cruise around the tank. Think someone else recently posted a similar behavior in their BP.

Both of my bps do this. It's kind of like watching my dogs when they are outside in their dog houses. They just kind of hang their heads out and lay there. I honestly think its just because they feel safe and comfortable because they never did this when I first brought them home.

Its actually a good sign of a happy healthy snake. They are ambush hunters, so when you see them like that they are sitting in a location where they feel safe just waiting for dinner to walk by.
