Will this day never end .... ??

Ok .. so i have to vent a bit
[rant]
First of all .. i'm pulling a 12 hour shift both days this weekend. My normal day is Sunday (which is bad enough) but this weekend i get both :( . Today didnt start out all that bad tho .. its raining so i'm not missing any golf time ;)

So ... im sitting here basically doing nothing because we really dont have a whole lot in the shop today. The things i wanted to work on today, i cant because my ( lets just say *intelligent* ) boss did not finish what he needed to do so that i can do what i need to do ( if that makes any sense at all ).

Then comes the kicker ( or at least so far ) ... we take lunch at 11 am because that is when the first shift crafts guys take lunch. I decide to run out and get myself something nice to eat. I get into my car, pull out of the parking lot, and procede to blow my right front tire. Just perfect! Remember i said it was raining ... yea at this point we're into a good t-storm :). So there i am in the pouring rain trying to change my tire. Luckily i was able to pull off into another parking lot. So now i've got the little 50/50 tire on the car.

I've still got 6.5 hours left :shock: ... whats next?

Just had to vent somewhere ....

I'm sorry you're having such a bad day, Carson. Oh and the boss not doing what he needed to do so you could do what you need to do makes perfect sense! I can relate completely (and I hate driving w/the donut!!) It'll get better, hang in there :D

I wish this day would never end. This is the last day my boy will be around for me to BOSS around. He leaves in the morning for St. Louis for the night, then off to San Diego and the Marines Monday morning. Though I have been telling him he needs to leave the nest, I will miss the little @#$%!

the Marines? YES!!! nice choice on his part. tell him i said GOOD LUCK, and don't give up....

my bf's a Marine, and the sh*t they go through in boot camp is just like ha. amazing.
