What to do with sausage butt?
So, my 400 gram BP has been on small rats for about 3 weeks now and hasn't pooped in about a month. I'm not concerned about him not pooping, but I don't see hohttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/02/17/apazymy9.jpgw anything else will fit in his body. The sausage butt is pretty bad. Should I keep offering up normal meals and let it be or should I try a warm bath?

Leave it. He will go when he needs to. Keep feeding as normal. You're going to find a special surprise soon enough. ;) Honesty, I wouldn't be holding that snake right now... :p

I wouldn't be concerned as long as sausage butt doesn't feel like a hard mass. Sometimes a warm water soak will encourage defecation. Unless he shows signs of distress there is no need to worry. :)

This had me cracking up. I put him up soon after reading your post. He looks like he could blow at any time. His last rat was a little on the larger side and I just can't imagine him fitting another in this week without something giving.

I once had a female go almost three months and eventually laid down a giant one. Also keep feeding him, it's fine

    mmmmm, sausage. yum.

:agrees with Doolittle: Handling that snake is a time bomb of poop waiting to go off down your shirt, or on you pants, or on the couch, or the bed, all over the floor...
