I'm curious as to whether or not my pastel looks to be of decent quality or not. It's hard to find information regarding that online for some reason.

He looks amazing, but I am new to BP's :) Much brighter than the one in my local reptile shop.

Do you have a weight on him? He's got nice even yellows and good blushing. But for pastels it really does depend on size.

Looks like a nice Pastel to me. Has some decent blushing and the overall color is pretty good. I would be happy to have one like that in my collection :gj:

Thanks guys. No, I don't have a weight. I need to get a scale. He just came off a month long fast. Now, he's chowing lol. It's hard to know what is good quality when your experience is limited to keeping a couple pets lol.

pastel brown out with time .. but u still need them to make great combos .. sometimes u find a pastel that doesn't brown out .. I think missriss has one that's like 800 grams and is as bright as ever one of the more or maybe even best pastel ive seen .. urs is very decent but if he is still young expect him to brown out unless u got lucky and he comes from great quality

Everyone is right. Pastels WILL brown out to some degree. Your pastel has a very nice pattern and I love the blushing. It looks better than the majority of pastels that I see people post.

Here is my 2012 pastel girl. She is 1100 grams in the photos. She has gotten darker, but instead of browning out, she is getting a slightly darker shade of yellow.

Thank you everyone! I am very proud of her. I'm still debating what male to breed to her next season, but I am toward my calico or my lesser.
