Re: Hognose going off feed
Try feeding scenting it with a toad, I know that has worked for a lot of hognose keepers. Although I know that may not be available to you. Are you feeding live or f/t? Braining a f/t pinky may help a finicky eater. Hog noses tend to go off feed in the winter and early spring, but I definitely understand your concern especially since its a younger snake

Re: Hognose going off feed
Are you leaving the pinky in the enclosure overnight?
When I first got my Hognose, he went off feed after the first feeding for about a month. I found that if I just left the pinky in the enclosure overnight, it was gone by morning.
Re: Hognose going off feed
I was going to say check temps first but, you've already done that.
If it has settled in and is relatively undisturbed most of the time I'd make a call to the breeder and ask what they were feeding it.
Re: Hognose going off feed
Try scenting using canned salmon, I know that method is very effective. Or you could try scenting using frog legs from the fish market. It's better to scent to assure it eats, these things are usually easy to get a hold of if needed again. They could be even reused too. It's usually easy to gradually ween them off scented food anyways

If you have a headlamp put it over the heat for a few minutes too. Don't make it too hot though. Exactly how long has it been since it last ate?
