Should I start to pair them?
So I'm thinking about breeding my BPs. The female is aggressively feeding and is of weight to start breeding now. However my male is on a ~4week hunger strike. I thought the hunger strike was d/t putting him in a new setup recently but the strike started before that happened. Should I try to pair them now or do I need to wait until the male calms down and starts feeding again?

You can pair them, as long as he is still a healthy weight

Any tips/tricks you use to get them to lock? I've noticed that when I pair them the female will take over his hide and just stay there. I should remove the hides?

Put him in her enclosure, and let them be. If they want to breed, they will
