    New AP T-3! (Build/assembly)
I'm getting my new animal plastics T-3 for my nine month old female butter ball python tomorrow! I haven't been able to find anything with the whole assembly so I figured I'd make this for anyone who's looking to possibly get an AP cage. I'll do my best to document most of, if not the whole, assembly with plenty of photographs.

I'm just curious as to wy you went for the T3 rather than the T8? Not a bad thing, per se, but you may need to shift your butter out of it after a few years. Why not just go with the larger, cheaper T8? (not trying to sound critical, although i know it comes off that way via text. I'm just genuinely perplexed.)

I've seen plenty of recommendations on here for using a T8 with a divider to house two adult BPs. The recommendation I've seen is a square foot of floor space per foot of length on the snake. Either way, I think the T3 has plenty space. Sure, it's more expensive, but not everyone has a good spot for a 4' cage, and it's a lot easier to find 36" stands to put it on that look good. The only thing I could find for my T8 was some janky looking industrial shelving.

You're just not looking in the right places.

    That's a tv console/stand. It's 5ft long, 19in deep, and 30-something inches tall. Ordered online from Wal-Mart for around $200.

I got the T-3 because it has plenty of room and will stack with my T-5 when I get my GTP.

I recently got the T8's and I found a really nice looking TV stand for 100$ at Walmart. It is the Mainstay's TV stand 50". Check it out.

I've seen that one, and have considered it. It's closer to my decor taste. However, I prefer not to support Walmart.

Right now, I'm holding out on any future purchases until I know my future plans. I'm trying to open a pet supply shop in a year or two, and will probably move my snake there to display, along with the other snakes I want in the future.

I feel you about not having a good place to keep such a big tank right now my dresser is pulled up off the wall maybe 6 inches just so the tank doesn't look like it's hanging off of the edge lol good thing I have a big enough room to do that

Omg that's such a good idea! I have the same problem with my dresser since most cages are 2ft deep and my dresser is about 4in short of 2ft so the cage would hang off the edge I'll definitely try that! :D
