Feeding question, please help!
So I fed my bp Dexter for the first time last Saturday night and he took only minutes to sniff it out, strike, and eat the f/t small mouse. I decided since he ate so well then that I would try again tonight, five days later, and see if he would eat two of the small mouse and he ate both of them in the same manner about five minutes apart. Since he's eating so well I'm wondering if it would be best to switch him to a bigger mouse or rat pup or just keep with the two small mice? I just don't want to over or under feed since he's still a growing baby. I'm ecstatic he's eating so well. Any input is greatly appreciated!
Re: Feeding question, please help!
I actually haven't gotten a chance to weigh him yet since I've only had him for about two weeks. Any suggestions on good options for scales? Hes fairly young, maybe five to six hundred grams?
Re: Feeding question, please help!
He may be less than that but I'll definitely invest in a scale. Are the weaned rats the same as rat pups? I'm not too familiar with all of those yet. Thanks so much for all of your help!

You can get a good scale from a variety of places. I use this one:

But you can also get them at office supply places like Office Max and Staples.
That 7001 is a great scale, it's what I use and comes with a tub to hold in your snake/mouse

You can get a digital food scale from target or walmart for 20-25 bucks and that works just fine
